what we do
Kid's Bible Club
Mondays 4:00-6:00pm

We are always in need of dedicated volunteers to help make our Kid’s Bible Club a success each week! Whether you enjoy leading small group discussions, helping with crafts and games, serving meals, or simply building relationships with kids, there’s a place for you to serve. Your time and willingness to invest in these children can make a lasting impact as we share the love of Christ with them. If you're interested in volunteering, we'd love to have you join us!
Our Kid's Bible Club for children aged 3 to 11 meets every Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. The first hour offers a safe environment for indoor activities like crafts and games, as well as outdoor play. In the second hour, children participate in an upbeat worship session and a Bible lesson, followed by small group discussions. We conclude by serving a full meal and providing snack packs to support them through the week.
Ladies Bible Study
Wednesdays 12:00-1:30pm

Volunteering with our Ladies' Bible Study is a meaningful way to pour into the lives of women in our community, many of whom are parents and grandparents of the kids we serve. By joining us, you can help create a welcoming space where these women feel encouraged, supported, and strengthened in their faith. Whether leading discussions, building relationships, or simply being present to listen and pray, your involvement can make a lasting impact. If you have a heart for ministering to women and want to help them grow in their walk with Christ, we’d love for you to be part of this ministry!
Our Ladies' Bible Study is a welcoming space for adult women to explore God’s Word together in a discussion-based setting. Each week, we gather to dive into Scripture, learning more about who Jesus is and what that means for our lives. Whether you're new to the Bible or have been studying for years, this is a place to grow in faith, ask questions, and build meaningful connections. We’d love for you to join us as we learn and grow together!
Monthly Ministries
Year-round

Volunteering for our monthly outreach ministries is a great way to serve our community and share the love of Christ in a hands-on way. Whether it’s helping at a block party, sorting and distributing clothing, handing out candy at Trunk or Treat, or serving families during our Christmas and coat drives, there are many ways to get involved. These events provide practical help while opening doors to build relationships and share the gospel. If you’re interested in volunteering, we’d love to connect with you! Contact us at (423) 763-8208 or email info@youngamericaministries.com to learn more.
Each month, Young America Ministries reaches out to our community through special events that meet both physical and spiritual needs. From block parties and clothing giveaways to seasonal ministries like Trunk or Treat, Christmas outreach, and coat drives, we strive to serve families in meaningful ways. These events provide opportunities to share the love of Christ, build relationships, and offer practical help to those in need. Whether through providing warm clothing in the winter, hosting fun community gatherings, or ensuring children have gifts at Christmas, we are committed to making a difference all year long.
Mission Groups
Year-round

If your team is interested in serving with us, contact us at (423) 255-6550 or email info@youngamericaministries.com.
Throughout the year, Young America Ministries welcomes mission teams from various locations to partner with us in serving our community. These teams assist at our community center, engage with children and teens through our Bible clubs, and contribute to various service projects that address local needs. Their involvement not only enhances our ongoing programs but also fosters meaningful relationships within the community, reflecting the love of Christ in tangible ways.
Tutoring Program
Tuesdays 4:00-5:30pm

Our tutoring program relies on compassionate volunteers to provide academic support and encouragement to students each week. Whether you have a background in education or just a willingness to help kids with homework, your time can make a big difference. Volunteers assist with various subjects, offer one-on-one mentoring, and help create a positive learning environment. Volunteering just a couple of hours can have a lasting impact on a child's education and confidence. If you'd like to be part of this meaningful opportunity, we’d love for you to get involved! Contact us if you'd like to volunteer to tutor, provide a meal, or donate to our store.
Young America Ministries' tutoring program meets every Tuesday to provide a quiet and supportive environment for students to receive homework help and academic encouragement. Held at First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe, our tutoring sessions focus on reinforcing key subjects, building confidence, and offering one-on-one assistance to ensure each child gets the help they need. Our dedicated volunteers create a welcoming space where students can grow academically while also experiencing the love of Christ through mentorship and encouragement.
We play educational games, serve a meal, and work on their homework or help to teach other concepts they may need extra work on. Our students can earn "tutoring tickets" by returning homework, memorizing scripture, and behaving well. They can spend them in our store filled with toys, games, and candy.
Teen Night Bible Study
Thursdays 5:00-7:00pm

Volunteering at Teen Night is an opportunity to invest in the next generation by mentoring and encouraging students as they grow in their faith and navigate life’s challenges. Whether leading small group discussions, teaching life skills, or simply building relationships, volunteers play a vital role in creating a supportive and Christ-centered environment. Your presence can make a difference as teens develop confidence, ask tough questions, and learn how to apply biblical truth to their daily lives. If you’re passionate about guiding and uplifting teens, we’d love to have you serve with us!
Our Teen Night Bible Study is a time for students to connect, grow in their faith, and have real conversations about life and Scripture. Each week, we gather for engaging Bible study, followed by small group discussions where teens can ask questions, share their thoughts, and build strong, Christ-centered friendships. In addition to studying God’s Word, we also focus on teaching important life skills, helping teens develop confidence, responsibility, and practical wisdom for everyday life. It’s a space where they are encouraged, challenged, and equipped to live out their faith.
Summer Camps & Leadership
Development
Each Summer

Volunteering for our summer camps and leadership development programs is a great way to invest in the next generation. Whether helping with fundraising, organizing supplies, or assisting with camp preparation, there are many ways to get involved. If you can't volunteer in person, you can still make a huge impact by donating to help cover camp costs for students who may not be able to afford it. Your support provides meals, transportation, and camp fees, allowing more kids to experience spiritual growth and leadership training. If you’d like to get involved or give toward this ministry, contact us at (423) 763-8208 or email info@youngamericaministries.com.
Each summer, Young America Ministries provides opportunities for children and teens to attend camp, where they experience fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth. These camps give kids a chance to step away from daily distractions, build friendships, and grow in their faith through powerful worship, Bible teaching, and outdoor activities. For our teens, we also focus on leadership development, equipping them with the skills and confidence to serve in their communities, mentor younger students, and step into their God-given potential. Through these experiences, we pray they will be strengthened in their walk with Christ and encouraged to be leaders in their faith.
Christmas Ministries
Each Winter

Volunteering and giving toward our Christmas ministries is a wonderful way to make a difference in the lives of children and teens during the holiday season. You can help by donating gifts, assisting with our kids’ Christmas parties, or sponsoring a teen to attend the winter retreat. Financial donations also go toward providing meals, supplies, and special experiences that make these events meaningful. If you’d like to volunteer or give to help make Christmas special for the kids and teens we serve, contact us at
(423) 763-8208 or email info@youngamericaministries.com.
During the Christmas season, we host special events to share the joy and hope of Christ with the children and teens we serve. Our Christmas parties for kids are filled with fun activities, gifts, and a special message about the true meaning of Christmas. For our teens, we offer a winter retreat where they can grow deeper in their faith, build strong friendships, and take a break from everyday distractions. These ministries create lasting memories while pointing young hearts to Jesus during the holiday season.
